Founding vintage · lock your rate
The Desk price rises as the archive deepens. Whatever rate you join at, you keep.

PowerGridIQ records grid-connection reality week by week and never back-fills it, so the archive is worth more every quarter. New subscribers pay more as it grows; existing subscriptions are never repriced. The record you receive on day one includes the full series back to June 2026.

What the Analyst Desk actually buys

The free site answers "what is our rating of this one market, right now." The Desk answers the questions a siting or strategy professional is actually paid to resolve: how do all 84 markets compare on recurring cost and time-to-connect, which way are they moving, and what changed on my shortlist this week. It is the compiled asset plus the dimension of time, the part a competent analyst would otherwise spend days assembling by hand and could never keep current.

See inside the book. Every Desk seat includes The Global Energy Report, a dated, numbered quarterly that assembles the whole platform, delta-first: the quarter in ratings, the 84-market league table, the full cost and friction tables, and a page on every market. Enter your work email to download the current sample issue (PDF): the cover, the dashboard, the top of the league table, one full market profile, and the methodology.

Questions

Is the rating itself free?

Yes, and it always will be. Our opinion of any single market, with its evidence, methodology, and that market's own cost band and connection wait on its rating page, is free to read and to cite. We charge for the compiled cross-market comparison and its history, not for the opinion.

What is the difference between the Analyst Desk and the API plans?

The Analyst Desk is for people who research or decide where load should go: it bundles the compiled tables, alerts, the book, and full API access. The Developer and Pro plans are machine-access only, priced by request volume, for wiring the rating into your own software or agent.

How do the alerts work?

Watch any market from its rating page for free email alerts on rating changes. Desk seats add shortlist alerts across your candidate markets and on queue, cost, and auction moves, not just rating actions.

What is the enterprise feed?

The Connection Friction Feed and the Interconnection Ledger, delivered with the full per-market detail, an SLA, and licensing. Founding design partners get founding pricing from $25,000 a year. Read the brief or get in touch.
